Robot 101/ Rio 2025
Robot 101 or Rio is my answer to AI Art and the future of robotics.
Rio is an AI powered robot whose function is to help people. He has various roles from dish washing and floor mopping to search and rescue on alien worlds.
He's here to help.
Rio has many adventures he's mostly hand drawn and has been conscious since 2025.
Inspired by the Robot in Studio Ghibli's The Flying City of Laputa and a little by the Wild Robot.
Rio is multifuncional and love learning new skills from gardening and feeding newborn lambs to
of road racing he's a robot for all seasons.

Art event at Hendrick Hotel Smithfield
Feár Gortas, an Irish language comic book was launched during Irish Language week at the Hendrick Hotel In
Smithfield. It was a lovely event with some live drawing. I Zombie-fied people. drawing. them a personalised Zombie portrait of themselves for posterity. Zombie man himself turned up and terrified the guests on the evening, is much so that he was asked to leave and never come back.

Kono Michiara, a young samurai and poet during the Kamakura period from arrives in Hakata Bay to fight the Mongol invaders and achieves fame and honour for his family through his deeds. Its a slow burner about isolation and human strenght. Based on a.short story by Ken Keenan a computer programmer based in Dublin. Art by Anthony Kelly Hand drawn with pencils and painted with acrylics. The story features stunning icy landscapes and robotic and space gear inspired by WW2 bombers. I've known Ken for years, both of us love sci fi, I liked his short story and created a small illustrated book from his words. The original art book was drawn on hand made paper and had a lovely texture and I embellished it with inks and acrylics. 1st and 2nd Printing. A5 Colour. 40 Pages |
