I dreamed up the story working in a shopping mall in San Cugat outside of Barcelona and the story grew over time. Image: Anthony Kelly, 2020 winner. Red mudstones, siltstones and sandstones of the Old Red Sandstone Group deposited during the Devonian period (419-359 Ma), Little Skellig, County Kerry. Each year, Geological Survey Ireland holds a photo competition in honour of George Victor Du Noyer (1817-1869), an Irish geologist, artist and antiquary. Du Noyer began working for the Survey in 1848, and was a prolific documenter of geological landscapes, both via his work in mapping and geology, and in his vivid and detailed watercolours and sketches. "The Hill" was joint winner of a public vote in the published writer category. of a Halloween themed horror writing competition run by Holding it together apart. An organization set up to help people in Ireland during the pandemic lock-downs. They organized online classes and helped peoples mental health. Lee+ Translates and Publishes "La Casa" a horror short story in Spanish for Halloween. "The House" as the story is called in English is a short 1,000 word short story written by Anthony Kelly part of a series of short horror stories written during the Covid pandemic.
